Wilma Trokey

Wilma Lea Trokey of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life on September 19, 2005 at her residence. She was born on July 18, 1932 in Goodland, Missouri, a daughter of the late Edwin L. ?Mutt? Blount and Gladys Lucille (Schrum) Blount.

Wilma was married to Clinton Trokey on October 20, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas and a son was born to that union. Clinton preceded her in death on August 21, 2002. In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by her sister Corinne Edwards.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her son Steve Trokey and wife Pam of Potosi; her sister, Laverna Kay and husband Bob of Potosi; and her brother, Donald Blount of Potosi; grandson Clint Trokey; granddaughter, Gretchen Simpson and husband Marty of Caledonia; three great- grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Lauren Simpson of Caledonia; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were held at 2 PM Thursday, September 22, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Blount, J.J. Blount, Joey Blount, Robbie Reed, Michael Kay and Curt Gaston.

Interment and final prayers were in Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
