Wilma Lee Romano of Potosi, Missouri departed this life September 25, 2010 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty six years and fifteen days. She was born on September 10, 1924 at Fisk, Missouri a daughter to the late Linus Lee Frost and Thelma A. (Harvey) Frost.
Wilma was a member of the Potosi Church of God. Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Frank Romano; infant children Richard Howard Smith, Michael Lee Smith, Thelma Jane Smith; daughter in law Sharon Smith; brother Alvie Leon Frost; three grandchildren Jackie Dale Harper, EvaDean Harper and Arvetta Hope Dallas; Three sons- in law John T. Harper; Ronnie Dallas; Johnny L. White.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Rev. Allen Smith and wife Susan of Potosi; three daughters Nadine White of Potosi; Maxine Sparling and husband Daniel of Charleston, IL; Helen Sterling and husband Frasier of Champaign, IL; thirteen grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 1 PM at Potosi Church of God with Rev. Roger Taber officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 2 PM at Roselawn & Mound Memorial Cemetery, Charleston, IL.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
