Wilma Fay Phares of Potosi, Missouri was born on June 6, 1945, a daughter to the late George Edward Bouse and the late Wilma Bernice (Meador) Bouse. On August 9, 1964, Wilma was united in marriage to Homer Paul Phares and they shared fifty-six years together.
Wilma passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 having reached seventy-five years of age.
Wilma is survived by her beloved husband, Homer Phares; six children: Lisa (Monty) Hines, Paul (Kathy) Phares, Marvin (Lisa Gipson) Phares, Robert (Sajini) Phares, Keith (Kim) Phares and Joseph (Georgie) Phares; siblings: Bob (Janet) Bouse, Phillip (Mary) Bouse, Johnny (Lori) Bouse, Mike (Judy) Bouse, Mary (Mike) Gregory, Steven Bouse and Janet (John) Riggs; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, October 9, 2020, beginning at 9:00 AM.
A funeral service to honor Wilma will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2020, held at DeClue Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Woods officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
