Wilma Gibson

Louise W. Gibson of Desoto, Missouri departed this life on March 11, 2011 at the Jefferson Regional Hospital having reached the age of ninety two years, nine months and twenty days. She was born on May 19, 1918 at Chilton, Missouri a daughter to the late Delbert Robinson and Mattie (Partney) Robinson.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband Noel Gibson, son Dwight Gibson, four brothers Raymond Robinson, Naamon Robinson, Norman Robinson, Osmand Robinson, two sisters Nina Lewis and Pauline Behn.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Wayne Gibson and wife Ruth of Desoto; three daughters Juanita Blount and husband Dale of Potosi, LaDonna Baker and husband Dennis of Imperial, Lisha Nation and husband Mark of Conway, Arkansas; sister Viola Thornton of Willcox, Arizona; three sister in laws Ruby Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia, Lillian Robinson of Houston, Texas, and Gerelene Robinson of Potosi, Mo; one brother in law Darrel Behn of Arizona; sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 14, 2011 at 2 PM at DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Brad Gibson, Jim Blount, Jeff Blount, Brian Baker, Brent Baker and Byron Baker.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family has requested tat all memorials for Louis Gibson be made to LifeWord at PO Box 6 Conway, Arkansas 72032. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
