Wilma Lou Elliott of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty seven years, nine months and eight days. She was born on September 9, 1926 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Gus Bailey and Lillie (Wilson) Bailey.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Elliott, two sons in law Charles "Chalk" Suiter, Bill Richards, four brothers Leslie Bailey, Russell Bailey, Junior Bailey and Eugene Bailey.
Wilma is survived by three daughters Marilyn Limbaugh and husband Larry of Potosi, Linda Charboneau and husband Kenneth of Potosi, Phyllis Suiter of Richwoods; three brothers Austin Bailey of Potosi, Carl Bailey of Paris, Texas, Howard Bailey and wife Carmen of Lincoln, Illinois; sister Anna Belle Akers of Lakewood, Colorado; six grandchildren Paul Richards and wife Chrissy, Janet Clapp and husband Lonnie, Jr., Karen Adams and husband Jody, Angie Battreal and husband Greg, Crystal Neff and husband Bill, Kindra Suiter; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Paul Richards, Lonnie Clapp, Jr., Dennis Finley, Rick Adams, Lane Adams, Jacob Neff, Zachary Richards and Wayne Bailey.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
