William Wesbecher

May 1, 1939 — November 30, 2010

William “Bill” Edward Wesbecher of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on November 30, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of seventy one years, six months and twenty nine days. He was born on May 1, 1939 in Illinois a son to the late Oliver Wesbecher and Arlene (Herschbach) Wesbecher.

On September 28, 1991, Bill was united in marriage to Rita Barron and they shared nineteen years together.

Bill served in the United States Army.

Bill attended the Stoney Point Baptist Church.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Rita Wesbecher of Potosi; three sons Bruce Wesbecher of Hillsboro, Curtis Wesbecher and wife Shelly of Park Hills, William Wesbecher of St. Louis; two step sons Gary Dunn of Potosi, Eric Dunn of Mineral Point; two step daughters Karen Dunn and friend Andy Johnston of Potosi, Brianna Dunn of Leadwood; sisters Vickie Althoff and husband Jim of High Ridge, Rickie Steiner and husband Cecil of Herman; seven grandchildren Jeremy Wesbecher, Kristen Wesbecher, Rachael Wesbecher, Kayla Warden and husband Daniel, Nick Dunn and wife Lana, Eric Dunn, Tyler Dunn; seven great grandchildren Dalton Farris, Trenton Dunn, Chesney Dunn, Gabe Wesbecher, Lane Warden, Skylar Warden, Devon Warden; special grandkids Zack Adams, Gabe Adams and McKenzie Adams; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Claude Evans officiating. Serving as pallbearers were his fellow PCC Officers Chad Cooke, Morgan Warren, Dan Baker, Denver King, William Kitchell, Mike Lawson, Mike Vance, Chris Walk, George Brown and Montey Montgomery.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
