William Schindler

William Aloyisus Schindler of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on February 13, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of eighty four years, seven months and twelve days. He was born on July 1, 1926 at Perryville, Missouri a son to the late Aloyisus Schindler and Ann (McCluskey) Schindler.

Bill served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946.

On March 23, 1968, Bill was united in marriage to Judy Rigel and they shared forty two years together.

Bill retired from McDonald Douglas.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son Billy Schindler; daughter in law Donna Jean Morris and a brother Robert Schindler.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Judy Schindler of Potosi; four sons Robert Morris of Potosi; William Morris and wife JoAnn of Lake St. Louis; Gerald Doss and wife Vicky of Lonedell; Stephen Schindler of Fenton; two daughters Christine Holder and husband Mike of Ironton; Lisa Bieser and husband Wayne of Farmington; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rudy Tyson and Rev. Brian Meade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jordan Civey, Jason Morris, Justin Holder, Mark Symonds, Richard Martin and Robert Morris.

Interment and final prayers were held at Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
