William Sappington

December 19, 1923 — April 22, 2014

William Casey Sappington of St. Charles, Missouri departed this life on April 22, 2014 at the National Health Care having reached the age of ninety years, four months and three days. He was born on December 19, 1923 in Potosi, Missouri a son to the late William W. Sappington and Fannie (Cresswell) Sappington.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Sappington and a sister Alice Conley.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his two daughters Sandra Creasy and husband Larry of Maryland Heights, Leota Eatherton and husband Bill of O'Fallon; one step son Larry Copeland of Orlando, Florida; two brothers Leo Sappington of Potosi, Rosco Sappington and wife Bernadette of Potosi; one sister Bertha Lemasters and husband Bill of Lebanon; six grandchildren Larry Creasy, Jr., Mathew Creasy, Craig Copeland, Kimberly Van Hoye, Carrie Felderwerth, William Eatherton, III; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Larry Greasy Jr. officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Sappington, Kenneth Connelly, Patrick Feldewerth, Danny Sappington, William Eatherton III and Stephen Jarvis.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
