William Sanford Lawson of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on January 15, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of seventy two years, five months and three days. He was born on August 12, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late William E. Lawson and Eva Mae (Moyer) Lawson.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a son Brian K. Lawson.
William served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1958.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are two sons William Eli Lawson and wife Sonya of Harmony, Florida; Bruce A. Voegtlin of Farmington, Missouri; seven grandchildren Brittany Lawson of Missouri; Brooks Lawson of Florida; Presley Lawson of Florida; Kristi Simmons and husband Jason of Illinois; Daniel Sadler of Desloge; B.J. Voegtlin of United States Marine Core; Chelsa Lawson of Florida; two great grandchildren Maggie Cross and Brandon Cross; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
