William ?Pat? Lawrence of Potosi, Missouri passed away June 4, 2006 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of 57 years, 2 months and 18 days. He was born on March 17, 1949 in Parma, Missouri, a son of Jewel (Truell) Lawrence and the late William Debs Lawrence.
Pat, as he was known by his friends and family, was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He was a dear and loving son.
In addition to his father, Pat was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Duke Johnson.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his daughter Tonya Angel Lawrence of St. Louis; his mother, Jewel Lawrence of Potosi; two sisters, Frances Strange and husband Doyle of Arnold and Barbara Johnson of Faultville, AL; one grandson, Jherimiah Lawrence of St. Louis; nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts; uncles and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Luella Plunkett and Rev. Dave Skaggs officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Michael Strange, Dwayne Strange, Marvin Oker, Chris Young, Harry Bockman and Chris Little.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
