William Doss

William ?Bill? Lawrence Doss departed this life September 21, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of eighty years, five months and five days. He was born on April 22, 1929 at Shirley, Missouri, a son to the late Dewy Doss and Ivy (Eye) Doss.

Bill was a member of the White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life is the cousin who took him in for twenty seven years and took care of him Freda Wright of Potosi; half brother Charles Kendall of Potosi; half sister Melba Rose of Warren; many other friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1 PM at the White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Joe Wilkerson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Ronnie Eye, Paul Eye, Stanley Eye, Chris Harmon, Bruce Woods and Scott Wilson.

Interment and final prayers were held at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
