William Edcar Bacon, Sr. of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on July 31, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital having reached the age of seventy eight years, two months and twenty nine days. He was born on May 2, 1933 at Salem, Missouri a son to the late John W. Bacon and Clarcia (Land) Bacon.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are three sons William “Willy” E. Bacon, Jr. and his wife Alice of Bonne Terre, William “James” Bacon of Fenton; Scott W. Bacon and his wife Kelly of Potosi; four sisters Mildred Watson and husband Ondo of Salem; Elmie Richardson of Salem; Doramae Warfel of Texas; Gereladine Lea of Salem; Charles Bacon of Salem; nine grandchildren Christina, Karry, Sara, Billy, Angelic, Kala, Clarrissa, Tiffani, Julia; seven great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on August 20, 2011 at 1 PM at the Stone Hill Cemetery, Salem, Missouri with a dinner to follow at the Salem City Park. Family is requesting a potluck dinner to celebrate his life.
