Wanda Fay Politte of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on August 31, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of sixty six years, eleven months and five days. She was born on September 26, 1944 at Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Albert Winick and Dorothy (Lamky) Winick.
On August 13, 1962, Wanda was united in marriage to William "Bill" Politte and they shared fifty-one years together.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by two brothers Orville Winick and Charles "Chuck" Winick.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband William "Bill" Politte of Mineral Point; two daughters Willjeania Hesen of Mineral Point; April Politte of Mineral Point; five sisters Marie Harr of Potosi; Laveda (Orville) Wells of Ironton; Deloise (Raymond) Cover of Mineral Point; Verneta (Earl) Waeltz of Potosi; Debra Pidcock and Ralph Ward of Bonne Terre; brother Dale (Janet) Winick of Mineral Point; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rick Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were James Politte, Rodney Nelson, Johnny Politte, Jamie Cain, Tom Collins, Charles Collins, David Thurman, and Jeremy Winck.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
