Wanda Lee Magruder passed away peacefully and went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Belleview, Missouri, having reached the age of 92 years, 10 months, and 7 days. Wanda was born on November 3, 1931 in Moark, Arkansas, a daughter to the late William Frank Kearby and the late Delsie Odessa (Lawson) Kearby.
Those who remain to treasure her memory and continue her legacy include her two daughters: Judy Rodewald and Lona Eden (husband, Tony); 17 grandchildren: Billy, Kathy, Kim, Julie, Bonnie, Kim, Michael, Bobby, Shirley, Tony, Tracy, TJ, Derek, Brian, Jennifer, Jake, and Eli. Wanda also leaves behind many great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Delsie Kearby; her beloved husband, Deford Magruder; four children: Donnie Statler, Linda Sue Stoker, Barbara Gadberry, and Anita Parker; two grandchildren: James and Becky; three siblings: Vernon Kearby, Norman Kearby, and Joyce Wantland; as well as many other dear family members.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4:30 until 8:00 pm held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO 63664. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 14th, from 10:30 am until the time of her Funeral Service at 11 am, held in the DeClue Chapel. Pastor Dale Stringer be officiating her service. Interment and final prayers will follow at Bernie Cemetery, Bernie, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
