Wanda Blair

Wanda Lee Blair of Potosi, Missouri passed away on August 4, 2015 at the Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached the age of seventy three years, two months, and fifteen days. She was born on May 20, 1942 in Mineral Point, Missouri to the late Clarence Edward and Vada Mae (Waters) Skiles.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her beloved husband Roger Blair of Potosi, Missouri; three sons: Tony Blair and fiancé Sueann Moore of Potosi, Missouri, Paul Blair and wife Kristi of Farmington, Missouri, and Michael Blair of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter Angie Walton of DeSoto, Missouri; three brothers: Wolford "Pete" Skiles and wife Sherry of Vulcan, Missouri, Eddie Skiles and wife Gerri of Potosi, Missouri, and Randy Skiles and companion Virginia Jones of Potosi Lake, Missouri; sister Judy Bernacki and husband Bob of Potosi Lake, Missouri; four grandchildren: Victoria Blair, Ashley Walton, Joey Walton, and Joey Moore; special friend Nancy Coleman; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her son-in-law Michael Walton; four sisters: Carlene Cain, Jessie Skiles, Peggy Skiles, and Alice Thompson; and two brothers: Ronnie Skiles and Joseph Paul Skiles.

This October, Roger and Wanda would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Wanda loved spending time with her four grandchildren. She also loved fishing, mushroom hunting, going to deer camp, and embroidering. She was very family oriented and always enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings where she would do all of the cooking and baking for everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and her fiery personality.

Visitation for Wanda was held Friday night, August 7, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30-8:00 PM and also on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral services began on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Honoring Wanda by serving as her pallbearers were Danny Blair, Kenny Blair, Cody Blair, Cory Blair, Aaron Porter, and Jackson Porter.

Internment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens.
All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
