Walter Sadler

August 5, 1933 — December 9, 2008

Walter Ewing Sadler of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on December 9, 2008 at his residence having reached the age of seventy five years, four months and four days. He was born on August 5, 1933 in Belleview, Missouri, a son of the late Albert Sadler and Sarah Huitt Sadler.

On December 30, 1955, Walter married Geraldine Nicholson and they shared almost fifty three years together. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Belgrade.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a father in law Charlie Nicholson; two brothers Raymond Sadler and Lyman Sadler; three brothers in law Vincent Aubuchon, Tom Daugherty and Charles Dean Nicholson; sister in law Mary Sadler Friese.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his wife Geraldine Sadler of Belgrade; son Jack Sadler and wife Glenda of Farmington; daughter Donna Cooper and husband Tim of Belgrade; mother in law Laura Nicholson of Belgrade; brother Donald Gale Sadler and wife Shirley and Belgrade; sisters Alice Mary Aubuchon of Park Hills; Marie Daugherty of Desoto; four grandchildren Andrew, Cory, Brent and Zach Sadler; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Liberty Baptist Church in Belgrade with Rev. Tom Conboy officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Andrew Sadler, Cory Sadler, Brent Sadler, Zach Sadler, Josh Harris and Jason Thompson.

Interment and final prayers were held at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Belgrade. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
