Virginia Nickles

Virginia MaryAnn Nickles of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 20, 2013 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty nine years, seven months and twenty days. She was born on September 30, 1943 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late Jess Wickerham and Mae (Moss) Wickerham.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by a brother Lester Wickerham; sister Mary Jane Wickerham; two grandsons Dennis Ross Nickles, Little Wayne Bourbon and a granddaughter Brittany Nickles.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are six sons Dennis Nickles and wife Rochelle of Mineral Point, Charles Nickles and wife Brenda of Belleflower, Missouri, Mike Nickles of Irondale, James Nickles of Cadet, Glen Nickles and wife Ava of Cadet; Tommy Nickles of Irondale; two daughters Kathy Bourbon and significant other Ronnie Brand of Irondale, Debbie Courtois of Potosi; sister Dorothy Missey of Cadet, brother Glen Wickerham of Cadet; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. don Strauser officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Glenn Nickles, Ethan Nickles, Alex Nickles, Jessie Moss, Charles L Nickles, Sr., James Nickles, Dennis Nickles, Charles Nickles, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Nickles and Melvin Mackley.

Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
