Virgil Lee Cain of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 13, 2006 at his residence. He was born on March 27, 1943 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Arthur Cain and Hazel Price Cain.
In addition to his parents, Virgil was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois McMullin and Oneda Pyles and a brother Carlos Cain.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his sons, Johnny Vance of Potosi, Robert Cain and his wife Dawn of Potosi; three brothers, Lindell Cain, Nolan Cain and Golden Cain; three sisters, Edna Link, Virginia Braken and Diana Tinker; four grandchildren, Courtney, Caitlin, Jonathon and Brianna; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Cain, Golden Cain, Shannon Cain, Jason Cain, Stephen Saunders and Dean Ozee.
Interment and final prayers were held at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Belgrade, MO. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
