Virgie Eaves

Virgie Sue Eaves of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on March 25, 2014 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy four years, five months and two days. She was born on October 23, 1939 in Bourbon, Missouri a daughter to the late Horace Peace and Theresa (Paul) Peace.
In addition to her parents, Virgie was preceded in death by a son Christopher Eaves and a sister Wanda Lee Peace.
On December 3, 1959, Virgie was united in marriage to Charles Eaves and they shared fifty four years together.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Charles Eaves of Potosi; two daughters Angie Eaves of Potosi, Theresa Isgriggs of Caledonia; brother Elmer Peace and wife Debbie of Oak Grove, Missouri; four sisters Betty Thompson of Cadet, Anita Portell of Potosi, Diana Akers of Potosi, Sharon Thompson and husband Terry of Cadet; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
A memorial service was conducted on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1 PM at the Glory Hill Church with Rev. Terry Eaves officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
