Violet Orrick

Violet M. Orrick of Middleburg, Florida, formerly of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life on July 19, 2024 having reached the age of 92. She was born on January 14, 1932 in Shirley, Missouri to the late Clayton and Marie (McGuire) Hollinsworth, Suttles. In 1946 Violet was united in marriage to Clay H. Orrick and they shared 44 years together.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Orrick; infant brother, Beauford Hollinsworth; stepfather, Grover Suttles; brother, John Suttles; sister, Virginia Griggs; daughter, Claydene Sutton; grandson , Scott Jones; and son in law, Woody Jones.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her children; Carliss Ballmann (Gerald) of Middleburg, Florida, Dottie Jones of Imperial, Missouri; son in law, James Sutton; brother, Joe Suttles; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1 p.m., held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, officiated by Elder Joe Colyott.
