In addition to her parents, Vickie was reunited with two siblings: Grace Bradley and George McBride.
Vickie was known for her heart of generosity and caring for others. Vickie’s generosity knew no bounds. She was the kind of person who would give her last dime to help someone in need, always putting the well-being of her family and friends above her own. Her big heart and selfless nature were evident in every aspect of her life, from the way she raised her children to the way she interacted with those around her. Vickie fully embraced her role as a grandmother, forming an unbreakable bond with her grandchildren. She was an exceptional cook and would prepare meals that ensured no one ever left her table hungry. Vickie was known particularly for her famous Christmas candy in which everyone relished over. Vickie was a hard worker. She worked for many years as a Medical Assistant for various doctors offices. Vickie found great enjoyment in music and dancing.
Above her dedication to her family and the many things Vickie found joy in was her love for Jesus. Although Vickie may no longer be on this earth, her family is comforted in knowing that she is present with the Lord and enjoying the beauty of eternal home in Heaven.
In celebrating Vickie’s life, her family invites all who knew and loved her to join them for a Memorial Gathering at the St. Francois County Country Club, 4901 Hillsboro Rd, Farmington, MO 63640 on the evening of Friday, August 23, 2024 beginning at 5 pm until her Memorial Service at 7 pm.
