Verdia Jane Wren

Verdia Jane Wren of Potosi, Missouri was born on August 26, 1936 in Potosi, a daughter to the late Chester Negim and the late Gladys (Summers) Negim. On April 25, 1970, Verdia was united in marriage to Arlon Wren and the shared forty-one years together. Verdia passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her home having reached the age of eighty-two.

In addition to her parents, Verdia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arlon Wren; and one brother, Richard Frank Negim.

Survivors include her two sons: Stephen Skaggs and Kelly Skaggs; one granddaughter, Olivia (Steven) Wells; two great grandsons: Dawson and Dallas.

The family will welcome friends for a memorial gathering on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 2 p.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
