Van Evans

Van Douglas Evans of Potosi, Missouri, formerly of Richwoods, was born on October 13, 1952 a son to the late Virgil Evans and Opal (Rogers) Evans. Mr. Evans entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his residence having reached the age of sixty four years, eight months and eighteen days.

Mr. Evans is survived by his four children: Doug Evans, Marie Hastings and husband Shane, Angela Evans, Christi Elliott and husband Craig; brother, Tim Evans; sisters: Wanda Kyle and Norma Wright; five grandchildren: Kaylie McCabe, Sydnie Hastings, Brett Evans, Harley Elliott, Owen Elliott; dears friends : JoAnn Singer, Diane Golden and Tom Hollands; very best friend, Kenneth Eugene Evans; nieces and nephews: Tammy, Robin, Gerri, Kim, Keith, Tanya, Debbie, Cortney, Jason, Joey, Mike and Juliette; also surviving are extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by four brothers: Ken, Tom, Tex and David Evans; sister, Joyce Wilfong; nephews: Jeff Wright and James Doug Evans.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 form 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. held at the DeClue Funeral Home. Brother Johnny Emily will officiate.
