Tony Wayne Glore of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on July 15, 2016 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy four years. He was born on January 5, 1942 in Stoney Point, Missouri, a son to the late Leo Dewey Glore and the late Eula (Brand) Glore.
Wayne is survived by his brother Darrell Glore and wife Peggy of Florida; sister Shirley Davis and husband Kenneth of Potosi; special friends: Harry and Annie Johnson of Stoney Point; and also surviving are many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Grace (Brady) Glore; brothers: Furlin “Pud” Glore and wife Ouita, and Bob Gerald Glore; and sisters: Nelma Coleman and husband Willis “Tune” and Verla Dee and husband Thomas Frank.
Wayne had a love for animals, especially horses and dogs and was an excellent trainer. Wayne loved the country life and ways.
Visitation for Wayne was held on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home and on Monday, July 18, 2016, beginning at 10:00 AM. A funeral service began at 2:00 PM on Monday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lynn Stroup officiating.
Honoring Wayne by serving as pallbearers were Greg Davis, Tim Dee, Shawn Johnson, Chris Johnson, Dale Jarvis and Rob Warden.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Highley Cemetery in Mineral Point. DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements for Tony and his family during this time of remembrance.
