Tina Sue Bourbon

November 9, 1964 — November 6, 2024

Tina Sue Bourbon, a beloved wife, mom, mawmaw, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on November 9, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the cherished daughter of James David Martin and Ruth Marie (Beagle) Martin. Tina was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her, with a kind heart and a beautiful smile that could brighten any room.

For years, she dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Her work family held a special place in her heart, and they shared countless memories together, reflecting her passion for nurturing both her patients and her colleagues. Tina's devotion to caregiving extended beyond her profession; it was her calling and a testament to her loving nature.

Tina was not only a tireless caregiver but also a devoted family woman. Her love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren, was paramount. She proudly took on the role of "Mawmaw Tina," creating cherished moments with her two grandchildren, Raylon, affectionately known as "Bobo," and Everhett Hall. Her unwavering support filled the hearts of her three children, Kaitlyn, Trey, and Jace, especially during school events, where her pride shone brightly.

Tina's spirit thrived during family camping trips and outings to the river, where laughter and love surrounded her. She had an endearing obsession with shopping for kitchen items, always searching for something that could enhance her family's meals or gatherings. A lover of memories, she captured countless moments on camera, ensuring the joy of family gatherings would always be remembered. Her favorite pastime included watching Hallmark Channel, especially during the holiday season, indulging in the warmth of Christmas movies.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Larry Bourbon, who was her partner in every adventure; her three children whom she adored: Kaitlyn (Marcus) Hall, Trey Bourbon, Jace Bourbon; her two grandbabies: Raylon "Bobo" and Everhett Hall; and her parents: Ray and Mildred Martin. Tina is also survived by her two stepdaughters, Michelle (Gabe) Taber and their children: Justin and Eli; Melissa (Jason) Robart and their children: Paige and Jaselyn, and her six siblings: David (Kim) Martin, Danny (Lisa) Martin, Brenda (Darrell) Herrington, Glenda (Linnie) Wideman, Dianel Harmon, and Dee (Melvin) Rhives. The warmth of her personality will be greatly missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bryon (Mary) Bourbon Sr., Rhonda Bourbon and Tim Rundel, Tammy Weston, Brooke Schrum, and Crystal (Allen) Maxwell. Special nieces, Hannah and Bella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, who will forever cherish the memories they have of her love and laughter.

Tina is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ruth Marie Martin, her mother-in-law Patricia "Pat" Bourbon and Paulie Schrum, her paternal grandmother Dorothy Martin, and her maternal grandparents Bert and Mary Beagle.
