Timothy Griggs

Timothy Richard ?Rick? Griggs of Bloomsdale, Missouri, departed this life, January 26, 2008 at St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of fifty one years, nine months and six days. He was born at Mineral Point, Missouri on April 20, 1956, a son of the late Fred Griggs and Adeline (Smith) Griggs.

On May 4, 1974, he was united in marriage to Donna Coleman and they shared over thirty-three years of marriage together. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather; a dear brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife Donna Griggs of Bloomsdale; two sons, Bruce Griggs and wife Angela of St. Genevieve, Greg Griggs and wife Jenny of Imperial; four sisters, Juanita Rowe of Mineral Point, Darlene Adams and husband John of Cahokia, IL, Caroll Adams of St. Louis, Linda Woods and husband Ron of Mineral Point; a brother, Freddie Griggs and wife, Melissa of Springfield; four grandchildren; nieces; nephews; uncles; aunts; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Michael Mocabee officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Schnieder, Terry Schnieder, Gary Schnieder, Randy McDaniel, Briant Luaders and Kelly Chlanda.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
