Thomas Jewell Parmeley of Williamsville, Missouri departed this life on February 26, 2008 at Williamsville, having reached the age of seventy six years and eleven months. He was born at Potosi, Missouri on March 26, 1931, a son of the late Alfred Parmeley and Bridgette Elizabeth (Boyer) Parmeley.
On June 20, 1959, he was united in marriage to Delores Durbin and four children were born to that union. Mrs. Parmeley preceded him in death on March 9, 1983. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Edward Parmeley; nine brothers, Harry, Raymond, Steve, Ralph, Roy, Eddie, Frank, Bobby, Pat; two sisters, Mary and Emma.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his daughters, Terry Downey and husband, Tim of Arnold, Tammie Barrett and husband Doug of Cherryville, Tina Summers and husband, Dave of Washington; two sisters, Virginia McBride and husband Clifford of St. Louis, Nellie Kappler of St. Louis; a brother, Paul Parmeley and wife, Rosemary of St. Louis; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Visitation 5 to 8 PM Monday February 25, 2008 at the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
Funeral services Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri.
