Thomas Lee DeClue also known by family and friends as “Tommy” of Potosi, Missouri was born on June 24, 1952 in Illinois a son to the late Evan S. DeClue and the late Maggie Louise (Heads) DeClue. Tommy passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital-Jefferson having reached the age of sixty-five years, ten months and twenty-four days.
Tommy will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his three daughters: Jennifer DeClue, Susan DeClue and Mary (Johnny) Clark; step son: Christopher Rulo; five brothers: David “Bossy” (Donna Jo) DeClue, Clarence (Sharon) DeClue, Billy Gene DeClue, David Simmons and Timothy Simmons; sisters: Kathy, Debbie and Beverly; nine grandchildren and many close friends and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa DeClue; step son, Michael Rulo; sisters: Mary and Margie and three brothers: Stevie, James and Donnie.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 21 at 1 p.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Thomas Smith officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
