Theresa Hurtz

Theresa Dawn Hurtz of Potosi, Missouri passed away on February 21, 2015 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of thirty four years, one month, and one day. She was born on January 20, 1981 a daughter to Garry and Betty (Farris) Pashea. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Scott Hurtz of Potosi, Missouri; son Matthew Lee Jones of Potosi, Missouri; daughter Lydia Mae Miner of Park Hills, Missouri; step-son Foxx Hurtz of Potosi, Missouri; parents: Garry and Betty Pashea of Potosi, Missouri; grandfather Leonard Farris and wife Jody of Potosi, Missouri; uncles and aunts: David Pashea and wife Nancy of Potosi, Missouri; Pamela Bockerstette and husband Tom of Arnold, Missouri, and Joyce Farris and husband Ben of Potosi, Missouri; cousins: Elizabeth Wagganer and Amanda Pashea; and many other extended family members and friends. Theresa is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Lonnie and Betty Pashea and maternal grandmother Delophine Farris. Funeral services for Theresa began at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. James Merritt officiating. Honoring Theresa by serving as her pallbearers were Donald Farris, Matthew Jones, Willis King III, Willis King, Jr., Dave Pashea, Troy Wagganer, Robert King, and T.J. Bockerstette. Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point, Missouri following the services. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
