Theadore Adams

Theadore "Ted" Adams of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on January 13, 2014 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of sixty two years and one month. He was born on December 13, 1951 in Houston, Missouri a son to the late Dean Adams and Mildred (Bridges) Adams.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter & Mary Adams, Elmer & Stella Bridges; father & mother in law Willie & Emma Turnbough and two brothers in law Jesse Essmyer and Raymond Henson.
On November 25, 1978, Ted was united in marriage to Christie J. Turnbough and they shared thirty four years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Chris Adams of Potosi; step mother Janet Showmaker and husband Gary of Potosi; three daughters Kimberly Katzenberger and husband Andy of Potosi; Taylor Adams of Potosi; Andrea Walton of Potosi; two brothers Dean Adams, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Bonne Terre, Marvin Adams and wife Cindy of Houston, Missouri; two sisters Brenda Adams of Webster Groves, Missouri, Robin Essmyer of Potosi; step sister Deborah Thompson and husband Leo of Potosi; four grandchildren Alexis Katzenberger, Landen Katzenberger, Dyson Walton, Gracen Katzenberger; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11 AM at the Potosi Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Isgrigg officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Darin Adams, Dustin Adams, Jimmy Jenkins, Steve McCarty, Adam Rugh, Adam Coleman, Chris Crump and Andy Katzenberger.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens.
