Terry Gene Crocker was born on September 21, 1954, in Farmington, Missouri, a son to Doris M. Nipper and the late Edward Eugene Crocker. Terry departed this life on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at the Parkland Health Center having reached the age of 68 years, 8 months and 19 days.
On April 22, 2006, Terry was united in marriage to Elizabeth Serratos, and they shared seventeen years of life and love together. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Terry retired after many years of service from the Missouri Department of Corrections. He was an all-around good guy. Terry loved spending time with his family especially his kids and grandkids and always looked forward to family gatherings and BBQ’s. Terry found joy in going to resale shops and auctions to find treasures. He was a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. Terry retired after many years of service from the Missouri Department of Corrections. Terry's family describe him as Kind hearted, Loving, and compassionate. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Crocker; three children: Shawnta Crocker (Amanda), Chris Crocker (Chelsey), and Kyle Crocker; six grandchildren: Brittany, Symphony, Ethan, Cannon, Charlie, Anna Beth; two great grandchildren: Braelyn and Haisley; beloved mother, Doris Lawson; four siblings: Jerry Crocker (wife, Kathy), Rick Crocker, Jimmy Crocker (wife, Jessie), and Scotty Crocker; brother-in-law, Ruben Serratos; father-in-law, Sal Serratos; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Edward Crocker; step father, Espin Lawson; daughter, April Dawn (Crocker) Cantrell; grandson, Jayden; and many other dear relatives.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, June 13th, from 10 to 11 am. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 11 am held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tony Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
