Terry Christopher Richards of Mineral Point was born on June 26, 1969 in Potosi, Missouri, a son to the late Terry Wayne Richards and the late Hattie Marie (Hammond) Richards.

Chris entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached the age of forty-seven years, eleven months, and two days.

Chris will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his fiancé Lisa Volner of Mineral Point; four sons: Austin Dyer and wife Laura of Fort Worth, TX, James Dickey and Rachel of Park Hills, Darrell Buhler of Park Hills, and Scott Buhler and wife Destiny of Mineral Point; two daughters: Kristi Glore and Camilla Masson and husband Ron - both of Potosi; brothers: Randy Nickelson and wife Laurie of Potosi, Andrew Richards of Old Mines, and Eric Richards and wife Connie of Japan, MO; sisters: Connie Parry of Davisville, Sherry Nickelson of Potosi, and Pat Nickelson and Tommy Brunk of Old Mines; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and one great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, Chris is preceded in death by his sister, Lorie Nickelson; paternal grandparents: Walter and Zelma Richards; and his maternal grandparents: Annie and Edgar Hammond.

Visitation for Chris will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00 PM.
A funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. JD Boyet officiating.
