Susan Mae Burbank of Desloge, Missouri passed away on December 16, 2014 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center having reached the age of sixty four years, two months, and three days. She was born on October 13, 1950 a daughter to the late Clyde and Effie Mae (Allen) Burbank.
Susan retired from the Division of Family Services in Park Hills in 2011. She was a member of the First Delassus Baptist Church in Farmington, Missouri. Susan was also an avid dog lover and a member of the Heartland Dog Kennel and often judged at the dog shows.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her sister Brenda Wilson and husband Lemuel of Potosi, Missouri; sister-in-law June Burbank; three nieces: Christa Wilson, Lisa King, and Stephanie Bowen; three nephews: Mark Wilson and wife Dena, Scott Wilson, and Junior Coleman; six great nieces; and one great nephew.
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by two brothers: Al Burbank and Kenny Burbank; and niece Marsha Wilson.
Funeral services for Susan were held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charly Schrum officiating.
Honoring Susan by serving as her pallbearers were Mark Wilson, Scott Wilson, A. Tyler Sims, Brian Tiefenauer, Daniel Trokey, and Steve Lubbers.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
