Steven Kean

Steven Franklin Kean of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on October 21, 2012 having reached the age of fifty five years, eight months and twenty nine days. He was born on January 22, 1957 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late Albert Kean and Shirley (Chaney) Kean.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a son Steven Kean, III; grandson George Kean, IV; two sisters Janet Kean, Tammy Kean; three brothers Kenneth Kean, Ronald Kean, Larry Kean; and a niece Jessica Martin.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are a daughter Stephanie Kean and husband George Frangel III of Mineral Point; two sons Steven Kean Jr. of Bonne Terre; Kenneth Wayne Hedrick of Potosi; four brothers William Aurthor (Debbie) Kean of Mineral Point; Albert Butch (Dee) Kean of Alabama; Albert Eugene Kean of Mineral Point; Tony Kean of Mineral Point; three sisters Mary (Sam) Minchue of Leasburg; Judy (Larry) Martin of Mineral Point; Rebecca (Glenn) Zeisler of St. Genevieve; three grandchildren Cameron Kean, Stephanie Lynn Kean, Georgie Franklin Frangel-Kean; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were George Frangel III, Pedo Goodson, Ted Kean, Bobby Morgan, Artie Kean, and Kenny Wayne Hedrick.

Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
