Shirley Hayes

Shirley Ann Hayes of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on August 21, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of seventy three years and one month. She was born on July 21, 1938 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late Sterling Skiles, Sr. and Julie (Vance) Skiles.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Howard David Hayes, grandson Derek Hayes, five brothers Jackie Clinton Skiles, Harold Skiles, Billy Edward Skiles, Edmond Skiles, Sterling Skiles, Jr. and a sister Norma Watkins.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are three sons Michael Skiles of Cadet, David (Cindy) Hayes of Belleview, Alan (Janet) Hayes of Cadet, daughter Sandra (Doug) Nickels of Florissant, three brothers Donald Skiles of Potosi, Ronnie (Sally) Skiles of Potosi, George (Alice) Skiles of Potosi, sister Sue Hodge of St. Louis, sister in law Marie Skiles; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 1 PM at the Declue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
