Sharon Kaye Thompson of Cadet, Missouri, was born on February 19, 1956 in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter to the late Horace Peace and the late Theresa (Paul) Peace. Sharon passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 having reached the age of sixty years, eight months and twenty four days.
On February 12, 1972, Sharon was united in marriage to Terry Thompson Sr. and they shared forty four years together.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Thompson Sr. of Cadet; two sons, Terry Thompson Jr. and wife Sherrie of Potosi and Bradley Thompson and wife Tiffany of Cadet; three sisters, Anita Portell, Betty Thompson and Diana Peace Akers all of Potosi; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.
In addition to her father and mother, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Ryan Thompson; brother, Elmer Peace and two sisters Sue Eaves and Wanda Peace.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 7:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements of Sharon during this time of remembrance.
