Sharon Ann Salsman, of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at her residence, having reached the age of 53 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was born on January 10, 1953 at St. Charles, Missouri, a daughter of Loetta Johnson and the late Gerthel Johnson, Sr.

On May 5, 1974 at Ellington, Missouri, Sharon was united in marriage to Jackie Salsman. They shared over 32 years of marriage together.

In addition to her father, Sharon was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Salsman, Jr.; brothers, Gerthel Johnson, Jr. and Robert Johnson; a sister, Danielle Johnson; her grand parents and a nephew.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Jackie Salsman; a son Steven Salsman of Cadet; her mother Loetta Johnson of Mineral Point; five sisters, Loeta James and husband William of Potosi, Kay Rennick of St. Louis, Deatra Bailey and husband Bob of Mineral Point, Vanessa McNail and husband Richard of Centerville, Roxane Johnson of Mineral Point; five brothers, Clifford Johnson and wife Melissa of Valley Park, Billy Johnson of Alton, Missouri, Glen Johnson of Mineral Point, Charles Johnson of Mineral Point and Joshua Johnson of Potosi; a god son Kenny Bailey Sr., nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Shepard officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tommy James, William James Jr., Kenny Bailey, Chuck Bailey, Randy Johnson and Tom Eye.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
