Sharon Lee Gile of Potosi, Missouri, was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on July 13, 1947. Sharon was a daughter of the late Reuben Johnson and Dorothy (Ferris) Johnson. Sharon passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, having reached the age of seventy-four years, six months, and three days.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her fiance, Michael Edmiston; children: Sheryl “Sherry” Edberg, Loretta Edberg, and Daisy Edberg; grandchildren: Heather Hinson, John Sneed Jr, Matthew Brown Jr., Joshua Hanning, Christopher Hanning, Dakota Schoenfelder, Rebecka Peavler, and Destiny Ridgley; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings: Marlene Lisowski, Betty Ehlo, Diane Johnson, David Johnson, and Billy Johnson. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her first husband, David Edberg; second husband, Dennis Gile; siblings: Arnie Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Mary Moses, Millie Johnson, and two infant brothers: Reuben and Paul.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO. 63664. A Memorial Service will begin at 1 PM immediately following the visitation.
DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have ministered to the family and friends of Ms. Sharon Gile.
