Sharen Louise Brown, born on December 12, 1944, in Leadwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 80. A beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, Sharen was known for her warmth, kind spirit, and unwavering love for her family.

Sharen was married to her high school sweetheart, Dionne L. Brown. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories, enjoying activities such as golfing, fishing, and bowling. They shared a close-knit circle of friends they made after retiring to Table Rock Lake, where they spent sunny days making connections and building lasting relationships. Sharen’s love for her family was profound, and her grandbabies were truly her world. Affectionately known as "Granny" or "Mama Brownie," she took immense joy in being a guiding presence in their lives.

Sharen's passion extended beyond her family; she was also an avid gardener who delighted in tending to her rose bushes and flowers. Her spirited personality shone through in her love for community games, often gathering with friends for lively card games on Friday nights. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including taking drives in her golf cart around the neighborhood and embarking on extended trips to Walmart.

Professionally, Sharen dedicated nearly 25 years of service at Commerce Bank in Desloge, where she built many friendships and touched lives with her kindness and dedication. Known to share invaluable life lessons, she was a great mom who instilled strong values in her children.

Sharen is survived by her daughter, Chris Thomas; her son, Kevin Brown; five grandchildren, Ashlee Carver (husband, Tony), Garrett Thomas and fiancé Jennifer Petterson, Jaylynn Bonner (husband, Sean), Ashley Brown, and Justin Brown; and eight great-grandchildren, Charlee Carver, Karter Thomas, Gage Brown, Havick Brown, Stevie Brown, Hope Bonner, Grace Bonner, and Ian Bonner. She is also remembered by special family friends Tracey Zelleny and Angela Brown, as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Sharen was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Black and Vivian (Gann) Black, her beloved husband Dionne, her son-in-law Gary Dean Thomas, and four siblings: Donald Black, Shirley Nations, Pat Wagstaff and Karen Keth.

The legacy of love and joy that Sharen brought into the lives of all who knew her will be cherished forever. She will be deeply missed. Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
