Shane Mallott

Shane Christopher Mallott of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on July 3, 2008 at Potosi, Missouri, as the result of an auto accident, having reached the age of twenty-nine years, eleven months and nineteen days. He was born at St. Louis, Missouri on July 14, 1978, a son of Edgar and Patty (Brown) Mallott.

Shane was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Mallott; a sister, Melissa Renee Mallott; grandparents, Marvin and Dorothy Mallott; and grandmother Shirley Jochens.

He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was always such a comedian and a pleasure for his family, like when he would go to town for something he would call home and say ?gray goose, this is red fox ? the eagle has landed? instead of just saying he got what I needed. He was a caring person who would give you the shirt off his back. If he had three of something, he would give you two, or all three if you needed them and he was always buying things for those in need ? even if it meant leaving himself broke.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his parents, Edgar and Patty Mallott of Cadet; a daughter, Jillian Campbell of Potosi; special friend, Jennifer Campbell of Potosi; two step brothers, Edgar Mallott, Jr. and wife, Sue of St. Louis, John Mallott of St. Louis; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
