Sadie Hill

Sadie Margaret Hill of Potosi, Missouri was born on July 18, 1934 in Palmer, Missouri, a daughter to the late Edward Gilliam and the late Hallie (Coffman) Gilliam. On March 7, 1953, Sadie was united in marriage to Leon R. Hill and they shared fifty years together.

Sadie will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her grandson, Greg Hill; granddaughter, Lisa Hill; and daughter-in-law Betty Hill – all of Imperial. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Sadie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Hill; son, Danny Hill; two brothers: John Gilliam and James Gilliam; and three sisters: Goldie Delashmit, Genevieve Skaggs, and Velma Jinkerson.

Visitation for Sadie will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 11:30 AM. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Palmer Cemetery.
