Ruth Rugh

Ruth Alma Rugh of Farmington, Missouri departed this life August 26, 2009 at the Parkland Health Center having reached the age of eighty six years, seven months and fifteen days. She was born on January 11, 1923 at Barnhart, Missouri a daughter to the late Walter Stockwell and Mary Stockwell.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Will Rugh; sister Mary Weisenborn; two brothers Walter Stockwell and Leonard Stockwell.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are three sons Will Rugh of Irondale, Robert Rugh and wife Marjorie of Steelville, Lawrence Rugh of Potosi, two daughters Mary Garrison of Wayland, NY, Bettey Doyle and husband Christopher of Park Hills; four sisters Rose Cartee of Barnhart, Annie Matlock of Barnhart, Daisy Lowe of Viburnum, Josephine Cartee of Crystal City; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Robert Rugh, Jr., Adam Rugh, David Linderman, Paul Linderman, Adam Stockwell and Sam Lands.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
