Rudolph Hochstatter

Rudolph C. Hochstatter of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on September 2, 2013 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety six years, four months and twenty days. He was born on April 13, 1917 in Washington County, Missouri a son to the late Rudolph Hochstatter and Jennie (Smith) Hochstatter.

In addition to his parents, Rudolph was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years Loubelle Hochstatter; siblings Ruby Hochstatter, Elsie Bennet, Roy Hochstatter, Herman Hochstatter, Mary Parmley, Helen Gillispie, Edith Shelton and sister in law and husband Ardath & Trenice Yount.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Larry Hochstatter, Roger Yount, Terry Yount, Ryan Yount, Ron Fields and Paul Yount. Honorary pallbearer was Jerry McClain.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
