Roy William Boyd of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on December 3, 2005 at his residence, having reached the age of 87 years, 1 month and 10 days. He was born on October 24, 1918 at Carthage, Missouri, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd.
He married Madge Birks and to this union three children were born. Madge preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, Roy was preceded in death by three sisters, Sylvia Boyd, Florence Boyd and Pearl Boyd and a brother, Theodore Boyd.
Those who remain to mourn his passing include his daughters, Beverly Boyd of Cadet and Debra Smith; his son, Michael Boyd and wife Linda of High Ridge; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Graveside Service 10 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County.
