Rosie Pearl Robinson of Jackson, Missouri formerly of Belgrade, departed this life on June 23, 2014 at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety eight years, two months and twenty seven days. She was born on March 27, 1916 in Fredericktown, Missouri a daughter to the late John Berry and Mary Louise (Parsons) Robinson.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Robinson, two sons Robert Summers, Harold Buckley, sister Anna Gibson, brother Claude Berry and a great granddaughter Natalie Rawe.
Pearl was a member of the Belgrade First Church of God. She was dedicated and devoted to the Church of God. As an original chartered member, she gave much of her time and tithes to this beloved church.
Pearl is survived by three sons Donald Buckley and wife Glenda of Belgrade, Randal Buckley and wife Judy of Desloge, David Buckley and wife Clarice of Belgrade; daughter Shelba Davis and husband Bud of Jackson; a host of grandchildren of five generations; other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Robert Nash officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Donnie Wayne Buckley, Greg Shaver, Zack Perry, Eugene Buckley, Jordan Johnson and Lonnie Chapman. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Tullock, Adam Perry, Blake Buckley and Ethan Bradley.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her church, Belgrade First Church of God.
