Rosetta Mosier

December 14, 1920 — February 3, 2008

Rosetta Marie ?Sis? Mosier of Bismarck, Missouri departed this life on February 3, 2008 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, having reached the age of eighty seven years, one month and twenty days. She was born on December 14, 1920 at Pevely, Missouri, a daughter of the late Moody Johnston and Ada Rose (Hesse) Govreau Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Osia; her second husband, Jim Carrow; three brothers, Edward Govreau, Walter Govreau and Raymond Govreau.

She was a long time member of the Festus Women?s VFW. She loved to barbeque for her family and have them over to share laughs, good food and good times. She was such a wonderful cook they all loved to come. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Joseph ?Ted? Mosier of Bismarck; brother-in-law, Victor Mosier and wife, Brenda; sisters-in-law, Margaret Adams and husband, James, Mary Diemert and husband, Ken, Patsy Garcia and husband, Richard, Ruth Rodenberg and Louise Valley, Rita Morr and husband, Tom, Virginia Wells and husband, Chester; many nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and friends that she loved dearly.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Timmy Mosier, Douglas Owens, Sterlin Adams, Darrell Penberthy, Daren Wells, and Richard Backer.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
