Ronnie Tarrants

Ronnie Sylvester Tarrants of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on November 28, 2012 at his residence having reached the age of seventy nine years and twenty eight days. He was born on October 31, 1933 in Oxly, Missouri a son to the late Cecil Tarrants and Martha (Cagle) Tarrants.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister Helen Blalock and a brother J.C. Tarrants.

On June 18, 1978, Ronnie was united in marriage to Janis Netzer and they shared thirty four years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Janis Tarrants of Potosi; six daughters Carol Allen of Illinois; Diana Coats and husband Joe of Robertsville, Missouri; Cindy Malady and fiancé Gary Crossin of Illinois; Rhonda Tarrants of Illinois; Teresa Gonzalez of Potosi; Anne Dihlmann and husband Ed of Virginia; two sons Donald Smith, Jr. and wife Donna of Imperial; Mark Smith and wife Barbara of House Springs; close friends Willard and Pearl Inman of Illinois; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, friends and relatives who will sadly miss him.

Ronnie's family wishes to thank Tip Hospice and close friends for their comfort to the family.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 6 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Don Strauser officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
