Ronald Thomlinson

Ronald Uri Thomlison of Cadet, Missouri was born on April 24, 1944 in Ironton, Missouri a son to the late Philip E. Thomlinson and the late Atha (Rich) Thomlinson. Ron was united in marriage to Penelope Nehilla on August 12, 2017.

Ron went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence having reached the age of seventy-three years, four months and twenty-eight days.

Ron will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife, Penny Thomlinson of Cadet, MO.; daughter, Lynn Thomlinson of Liberty, South Carolina; son, Curtis Thomlinson and wife Brenda of Lillington, North Carolina; two step children: Emily Ackerland and husband Josh of Bellingham, Washington; James Candler and wife Kelsey of Lewiston, Idaho; brother, Houston Thomlinson and wife Karen of Potosi; six grandchildren: April Hart and husband Jason, Alecia Polley, Joshua Polley, Kevin Wilson and wife Anna, Alicia Kennedy, Bryan Wilson and wife Katy; three step grandchildren: Hedi Ackerland, Will Ackerland and Jada Candler; also surviving are several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his father and mother, Philip and Atha Thomlinson.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, September 24, 2017 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Monday, September 25, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dwight Petete officiating assisted by Pastor Guy Conway.
