Ronald Mason

Ronald Lee Mason of St. Louis, Missouri departed this life on March 13, 2012 at the St. Louis University Hospital having reached the age of sixty five years, two months and seventeen days. He was born on December 24, 1946 at Leadwood, Missouri a son to the late James Mason and Mildred (Jackson) Mason.

On May 12, 1967, Ronald was united in marriage to Judy Harris.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his mother in law Wilma Lou Skaggs, brother Gerald Mason, and a sister in law Janet Hedrick.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Judy Mason of Potosi; step mother Marie Burget of Potosi; Father in law Jimmie Skaggs, daughter Tammy (Woody) Lawson, Jr. of Mineral Point; Son Ron (Camilla) Mason, Jr. of Potosi; brother Richard (RuthAnn) Mason of Arizona; sister Sherry (Tom) Martin of Texas; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1 PM at DeClue Chapel with Rev. Roger Taber and Rev. Randy Ruble officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Woody Lawson, Jr., Tommy Joe Martin, Richie Mason, Joe Summers, Jimmy D. Skaggs and Michael DeClue. Honorary pallbearers were Zach Lawson and Gerald Mason.

Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
