Ronald Lands

Ronald Bryan Lands of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on May 8, 2007 at his residence, having reached the age of 55 years, 11 months and 7 days. He was born at St. Louis, Missouri on June 1, 1951, a son of Lorene (Maxwell) Lands and the late Fred Lyman Lands.

On September 11, 1971, Ron was united in marriage to Deborah Hockinghomer at Caledonia, Missouri. They shared over 35 years of marriage together. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a long-time member of Belgrade United Methodist Church. He was a member of Local One IBEW of St. Louis and the Am Vets.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife, Deborah Lands of Belgrade; his mother, Lorene Lands of Bonne Terre; two sons, Christopher Lands of Belgrade, Matthew Lands of Bismarck; the ?light of his life? his granddaughter, Whitley Lands; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11AM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Julius Ketsenburg officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Derrick Coleman, Keith Civey, Carey Davis, Rodney Jones, Gary Causey and Duane Johnson.

Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
